What's Involved
As we scale our go-to-market presence across MENA and beyond, we're looking for a sharp, self-driven Business Development Executive to help us identify and engage the next wave of clients and partners. This is a research-heavy, intelligence-led role sitting at the intersection of market analysis and outbound origination. You'll be the first to spot where tokenization is gaining traction globally, build a detailed picture of what's happening in each market, and turn that intelligence into a qualified pipeline.
What you'll be doing:
- Conduct ongoing market research to track regulatory developments, sandbox initiatives, and tokenization announcements across target geographies.
- Produce structured, actionable intelligence reports on market readiness, key stakeholders, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities - shared with leadership and the wider commercial team on a regular cadence.
- Build and maintain a prioritised target list of prospective clients.
- Design and execute outbound outreach campaigns. Crafting personalised messaging, identifying the right contacts, and opening doors to qualified conversations across new markets.
- Engage directly with prospects through calls, meetings, and industry events to understand their needs, position Ctrl Alt's value proposition, and progress opportunities through the pipeline.
- Collaborate closely with the CEO and regional leadership to prioritise new markets, shape go-to-market strategy, and feed intelligence back into product and regulatory positioning.
- Monitor and analyse competitor activity, partner ecosystems, and relevant blockchain network developments
Requirements
Must Haves
- Have a strong instinct for research. You're comfortable going deep on a new market and surfacing the insight in a professional manner..
- Are a proactive, self-starting communicator who doesn't wait to be told where to look.
- Have experience in business development, market intelligence, or strategic research - ideally within financial services, fintech, or emerging markets.
- Can write clearly and concisely, whether it's an outreach email, an internal briefing, or a country-level market report.
- Are comfortable engaging senior stakeholders with confidence and credibility.
- Understand the basics of tokenization, digital assets, or blockchain infrastructure, and are looking to go deeper.
- Thrive in fast-moving environments where the playbook is still being written.
- Are highly organised, rigorous with data, and comfortable managing multiple markets and workstreams simultaneously.
Nice to Haves
- Existing knowledge of key markets
- Experience working with or selling to government entities, regulators, or sovereign institutions.
- Familiarity with relevant regulatory frameworks for digital assets.
- Arabic language skills or experience operating in the MENA region.
- A track record of opening new markets or geographies from scratch.
- Experience with CRM tools and outbound sales tooling
